Frequently Asked Questions

Who manages the bookings of the Carine Clubrooms?
Bookings are managed by the Carine Clubrooms Committee via our Booking and Facilities Officer.  Once a request is made using the booking request tab on this website, they will be in touch with you to answer any questions you have, confirm your booking and manage your event.

How much does it cost to hire the Clubrooms?
There is a standard rate for room hire in line with guidelines that apply to all City of Stirling facilities based on room size.  Click here for more information about room hire rates.

Can I hire a room on a once-off basis for an event?
Yes, the clubrooms can be hired on either a once-off or regular basis. The multi-purpose rooms are ideal for one-off functions, workshops, meetings and social events. Please complete the booking request form and we will assist you with your booking.

Who is responsible for cleaning the room after it’s been used?
All users are expected to leave the rooms and toilets clean and tidy.  Mops and brooms are provided to help with this. If a vacuum cleaner is required then that is the hirer’s responsibility to arrange.  A locked rubbish skip is available for rubbish (excluding raw food).

Is there disabled access to the facility?
The clubrooms are single level with easy access for wheelchairs.  The main toilet facilities include ambulant cubicles within the male and female toilets.  We also have a separate disabled toilet which also includes baby changing facilities. The clubrooms include audio loops to assist people with a hearing aid.
